Olympic Volleyball Sweeps Shoreline in Dominant Home Victory
Bremerton, WA – The Olympic College Rangers delivered a commanding performance on Friday night, sweeping Shoreline Community College in straight sets (25-20, 25-11, 25-16) at the Bremer Student Center. The win marks Olympic's third conference victory of the season and a strong showing in front of their home crowd.
Olympic's offense was led by Haley Cassity, who posted 5 kills with a .500 hitting percentage and added a solo block. Olivia Webster contributed 7 kills on .294 hitting, while Faith White chipped in 5 kills and 2 block assists, helping the Rangers control the net throughout the match. Adeline LaTour added 6 kills, and Josie Shores made an impact off the bench with 2 kills on 3 attempts.
Setter Ella Tallon orchestrated the attack with 24 assists and 4 service aces, keeping Shoreline's defense off balance. Grace Mosco and Josselyn McGarrah anchored the back row with a combined 12 digs, while Danika Francis and Shady Mayer added depth and defensive support.
Olympic finished with a team hitting percentage of .141, compared to Shoreline's .000, and outpaced the Dolphins in total points 43 to 23. Shoreline struggled to find rhythm, committing 18 attack errors and managing only 18 kills across three sets.
With the win, Olympic improves to 4-18 overall and 3-7 in NWAC play, while Shoreline remains winless on the season.
