Rangers Close Cross Country Season with Strong Championship Effort
The Olympic College men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their season at the 2024 NWAC Cross Country Championships, held at Downriver Golf Course in Spokane. Racing against a deep field of conference contenders, the Rangers showed resilience, steady improvement, and a growing competitive edge to close out their fall campaign.
For the men, freshman Logan Bouck led the way with a 29th-place finish and a personal record of 27:57.3, marking a breakout performance to end his debut season. Sophomore Aiden Smith followed in 59th with a time of 29:44.2, and fellow sophomore Kyle Bardwell placed 66th in 30:38.6. Nathan Morrison (sophomore) crossed in 32:20.4 for 78th, while Daniel Farr (sophomore) finished 82nd in 36:15.5, and freshman Luca Pham set a personal best with a time of 36:31.8 for 83rd place.
On the women's side, freshman Jordan Clark finished 39th with a time of 26:22.4, and classmate Khi Tall Bull placed 60th in 31:09.3, both demonstrating toughness and consistency throughout the 5K race.
While the Rangers did not reach the team podium this fall, the championship meet reflected the program's steady progress and commitment to development. With several underclassmen leading the way and a solid foundation of returning talent, Olympic College Cross Country looks well-positioned for continued growth heading into the 2025 season.
