Rangers Surge Past Whatcom as Moore, Campbell, and Rheinschmidt Lead the Way

Olympic College earned an impressive 99–84 victory over the Whatcom Orcas, riding explosive offensive performances from its leading trio and delivering one of its most complete efforts of the season. The Rangers pushed the tempo early with a 40‑point first half and broke the game open with a dominant 59‑point second half, showcasing efficiency, depth, and control on both ends of the floor. 

D'Angelo Moore paced the Rangers with a dynamic outing, scoring 19 points on 6‑of‑20 shooting while knocking down 4‑of‑5 from three. He added 5 assists and 3 steals, constantly applying pressure on the perimeter and stabilizing Olympic's offense throughout the night. Nate Campbell was equally impactful, pouring in 22 points on an efficient 9‑for‑16 from the field while adding 6 rebounds and 6 assists, giving the Rangers a reliable interior and mid‑range presence. The breakout performance came from Reece Rheinschmidt, who delivered a dominant 24‑point, 8‑rebound effort on 11‑of‑16 shooting, combining power and touch around the rim to keep Olympic firmly in control.

Olympic's overall execution powered them to a 44.8 percent shooting night, including 8 made threes, while dominating the glass 43–33 and generating 22 second‑chance points. The Rangers also forced 16 turnovers, converting them into 19 points, and controlled the paint with a 56–50 scoring advantage. Strong bench contributions helped sustain momentum, adding 22 points to round out a complete team win.

The Rangers now turn their attention to a key conference matchup this Saturday, February 14, on the road at Everett College, as they look to continue building late‑season momentum.
