Despite managing minor injuries across parts of the roster, our team responded with a strong next-athlete-up mentality. This was especially evident in the men's 4x400m relay, where Randall, Bobby, Reese, and Liam stepped in to compete and represent the program with determination and composure.
We also saw a key qualifying performance from Nashayla, who secured a spot at the NWAC Championships in the discus. She is also within one foot of the qualifying standard in the shot put, positioning herself for multiple-event qualification as the season progresses.
The team continues to trend upward with multiple personal records recorded throughout the meet. A notable performance came from Kyle in the 5,000m, where he posted a personal best of 17:51.89, reflecting the continued development of our distance group.
In the field events, Sypress Aupa'ua remains one of the top performers in the conference, consistently throwing in the 47–48 foot range in the shot put. Based on his current progression, he is on pace to challenge the school record this season.
Overall, this meet reflects the continued progress of our program. Our athletes are competing through adversity, improving week by week, and positioning themselves well as we move deeper into the season and closer to championship competition.
